Terms and Conditions for Guitar and Ukulele Classes

 1. Enrollment and Payment –

Registration: Students must complete the registration form and pay the first month’s fees to secure their spot in the class.
– Payment: Fees are due on the first of each month. Payments can be made via cash, check, or electronic transfer.
– Late Payment: Late payments may result in additional charges and could impact the student’s ability to attend future classes.

 2. Class Schedule
– Regular Classes: Classes are held weekly. Students will be assigned a specific day and time slot.
– Holidays and Cancellations: Classes will not be held on public holidays. In case of instructor cancellation, a make-up class will be scheduled.

 3. Attendance and Punctuality
– Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for progress. If a student must miss a class, 24-hour notice is required to schedule a make-up class.
– Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shorter lesson.

 4. Class Etiquette
– Preparation: Students should bring their instrument, tuner, and any assigned music or materials to each class.
– Behavior: Respectful behavior towards the instructor and fellow students is expected at all times. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the class.

 5. Practice and Progress
– Practice: Students are expected to practice regularly at home. Assignments and practice logs will be provided to track progress.
– Evaluation: Progress will be evaluated periodically. Feedback will be given to help students improve their skills.

 6. Cancellation and Refunds
– Instructor Cancellation: If the instructor cancels a class, a make-up class will be arranged.
– Student Cancellation: Students must provide 24-hour notice for cancellations. Make-up classes will be scheduled based on availability. No refunds will be given for missed classes without proper notice.
– Withdrawal: Students wishing to withdraw from the class must provide one month’s notice. Refunds for prepaid classes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 7. Liability
– Personal Injury: The instructor is not liable for any personal injury sustained by students during the class. Students are encouraged to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines.
– Property Damage: The instructor is not responsible for any damage to personal instruments or belongings.

8. Privacy
– Confidentiality: Student information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
– Photography and Recording: Classes may be photographed or recorded for educational purposes. Students will be informed in advance and can opt out if desired.

By enrolling in the guitar and ukulele classes, students agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
