I’m Debashis Kar, a passionate musician and educator with over a decade of experience in teaching guitar—bass, electric, and acoustic. I founded The Running Notations in 2015 to bridge the gap in quality music education across India. With an MBA in Marketing and HR, combined with my professional music background, I offer a unique blend of expertise in both education and performance.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching over 50+ students from more than 7+ cities online, using a teaching method that is simple and easy for all age groups to grasp. My performance repertoire includes over 200 +shows in various cities, and I’ve released albums such as “Mere Khuda” (2016) and “Intehaa” (2018). I’ve been associated with renowned acts like Talaash, Live Root, Byond Beat, Love Strings, and Aquatic Rulz.
